Complete Streets Prioritization Plan Public Forum - July 24th

Town Seeks Community Input on Potential Infrastructure Projects

The Town of Boxborough is embarking on a Complete Streets initiative, a MassDOT program which provides funding for certain transportation infrastructure improvements. The Town's Complete Streets Committee, in conjunction with their consultant, Green International Affiliates, Inc., is working to create a Complete Streets Prioritization Plan to determine the town’s Complete Streets needs and to prioritize its Complete Streets infrastructure projects as part of MassDOT’s Complete Streets Funding Program. The Complete Streets Committee is seeking input from town residents on their needs as users of the Town's roadways in order to create an environment that encourages walking, cycling, and other non-motorized forms of transportation.

The Traffic Safety Committee and Complete Streets Committee will be staffing a table at Fifer’s Day on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Flerra Field to collect input from attendees regarding changes they may want to see to make Boxborough's roadways safe and accessible for people of all ages and abilities, and all modes of travel, including walking, cycling, driving, and public transit.

A forum to gather public input on a draft Prioritization Plan will be held on:

Tuesday, July 24, 2018 @ 7:30 PM in the Grange Room, Town Hall, 29 Middle Road

All are welcome to attend and learn more about Complete Streets, provide input regarding the draft plan, and propose projects for the Town to undertake. For more information about the public forum, please contact Town Planner Adam Duchesneau at 978-264-1723 or via email by clicking here.

Please mark your calendars and the Committee hopes to see you there.
