Traffic Safety Committee

Selectmen create committee to address traffic safety concerns

Given the numerous recent traffic concerns expressed from residents the Board of Selectmen has supported the creation of a traffic safety committee.  

This committee, appointed by the Selectmen, is formed to study traffic conditions and patterns in the Town, evaluate options for traffic safety improvements and to recommend to the Board of Selectmen approaches to provide for safer and more livable neighborhoods.  Efforts to accomplish these goals shall include, but not be limited to, reducing speeding and unnecessary traffic on neighborhood roads. The committee is comprised of the Police Chief (or designee), Fire Chief (or designee), DPW Director (or designee), Town Planner, and five members of the community.
