Boxborough CoA Van
Through Montachusett Regional Transit Authority, Boxborough offers a van service for its seniors and residents with disabilities. Reservations for rides to medical appointments, food shopping and most local programs can be made through CrossTown Connect by calling (978) 844-6809 Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. General hours of service for the van are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
A Yankee Line, Inc. - Bus service to Boston
Boxborough commuters may hop on a bus for this weekday, once-a-day service behind Tedeschi's Store at Route 119 and 2A in Acton. For more information, click here.
MBTA - Fitchburg Line
This service is provided by the Town of Acton. The rail shuttle runs to South Acton's MBTA Commuter Rail Station from the West Acton Fire Station, located at 258 Central Street, and the Mt. Calgary Church lot, located at 472 Massachusetts Avenue (entrance on Prospect Street). Additional information may be found by clicking here.
Minutevan also provides a Dial-A-Ride service which serves any location within 3.5 miles of the Acton Town Hall, provided that the trip either begins or ends in Acton. The service must be booked at least 24 hours in advance and may be particularly helpful to Acton-Boxborough students seeking transportation from after-school activities.
