Main Library Catalog: Sargent Memorial Library belongs to the Central/Western Massachusetts Automated Resource Sharing, Inc. library consortium. Use the C/W MARS library catalog to search and request hold for any items within our library or any of the C/W MARS member library's holdings.

If you cannot find a specific item in our main catalog, you can search the catalogs of libraries across Massachusetts through the Commonwealth Catalog to request for interlibrary loan.


Do you know, you can borrow and download a large collection of books, musics, magazines and audiobooks online through the library? Our library patrons are able to access a large set of digital materials through C/W Mars library consortium, Commonwealth eBook and biblioboard digital collection, as well as digital resources made possible by the generosity of Sargent Memorial Library Foundation. eResource Highlight of the Month

Planning a vacation abroad? Need to learn about somewhere new? Try A to Z World Travel. Learn about passport and visa requirements, average climate and currency information, as well as get articles on local costumes, food scenes, and even security concerns. 

Look for US State and territory information at A to Z the USA. The database offers reports on cultural, historical, and social topiocs. Users can also find modern and vintage maps, photos, and other images. 



These databases are available to our library patrons through the generosity of Sargent Memorial Library Foundation.

Unsure how to use any of the eResources? Come to the library for help! The library offers free "How-To Tuesdays" technology workshops and has drop-in help hours available during Monday - Wednesday.
