eResource Highlight of the Month

Looking for a good book but not sure where to start? Books & Authors is an online resource designed to help public library patrons discover today's popular fiction and non-fiction titles. The database offers new ways to explore the endless possibilities and combinations of books, authors, genres and topics. Browse books by genre flitered by age group, by title, or by authors. Search for books by character description, geographic settings or time period. Look up book details, reviews, and lists of read-a-likes. Powered by Gale’s popular What Do I Read Next? series, Books & Authors combines both browseable menus and visual search technology to guide readers from every level of reading proficiency to books that match their interests.

With OverDrive, you can borrow and enjoy free eBooks, audiobooks, and more from the library's digital collection. All you need to get started is an internet connection and a library card.

Unsure how to use any of the eResources? Come to the library for help! The library offers free "How-To Tuesdays" technology workshops and has drop-in help hours available during Monday - Wednesday. Our first workshop is "How to download eBooks, audiobooks, and videos from OverDrive", November 17th, 6pm. Space is limited. Sign up HERE, or check our event calendar for more details.
