What is my PIN? What do I do if I don't know my PIN?

Your PIN was set when you first got your library card. It is the password that allows you to access your library account information. If you do not know your PIN, you can call the library at 978-263-4680 and we can reset it for you.

What is my "Bar Code" to reserve a pass?

Your Bar Code is your library card number. Enter all 14 digits without the spaces.

What if I lose the pass?

If the pass is lost, there is a replacement charge of $25 per pass.

What if I am late returning my pass?

The fine for late return is $1.00 per pass per day. If the pass is lost, there is a replacement charge of $25.00 per pass.

When and how do I return my pass?

If you pass is a disposable paper pass, you do not need to return it. For other passes, they must be returned before 10 a.m. the day after use. Passes returned after hours may be placed in the book drop in the provided manila envelope.

When can I pick up my passes?

Passes may be picked up after 12 p.m. the day before use or anytime on the day of use. Weekend passes may be picked up after 12 p.m. on the Thursday before use. The library is not open Fridays or Saturdays in the summer.

When can I reserve a pass?

Passes may be reserved up to 15 days in advance with a limit of 1 pass per day. During school vacation weeks passes are limited to one per card during the week.

What happens if my plans change?

If you reserve a pass and your plans change, please cancel your reservation by calling us at 978-263-4680, so the pass can be used by another patron.

What do I need to bring to get the pass?

You will need the library card that was used to make the reservation.

Who can reserve a pass?

Boxborough’s passes may be reserved by anyone with a valid card from any of the member libraries of the C/WMARS Library Network.

How do I reserve a pass?

You can use our online reservation system HERE (you will need your library card number and PIN) or you may call us at 978-263-4680 to reserve your pass over the phone (you will need your library card number).
