Scottish Music by North Sea Gas on Tuesday September 19th at 7pm

Back once again by popular demand; the Sargent Memorial Library in Boxborough is pleased to host a return performance by North Sea Gas on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 7 pm

One of Scotland’s most popular bands, with Guitars, Mandolin, Fiddle, Bouzouki, Bodhrans, Whistles, Banjo, great vocals with tremendous three part harmonies was founded in 1979, North Sea Gas have been performing their own brand of Scottish music all over the world.  Dave Gilfillan, Ronnie McDonald, and Grant Simpson will sings songs from their most recent album, The Fire in the Glen,  and The Passion of Scotland, which won the 2013 Album of the Year Award on Celtic Radio in Boston and the set of tunes from the same album won first place in the Jigs and Reels category.
