eResources

Magazines, Books & Audiobooks

Boxborough Patrons have access to eBooks and eAudiobooks through our CW/MARS (Overdrive) and Commonweath libraries affiliations (Commoneweath eBook Collection), as well as through additional vendors (Freading, Tumblebooks collection, and hoopla) thanks to the support of the Sargent Memorial Library Foundation.

Furthermore, the Library Foundation's generous support makes it possible for our patrons to download beautiful digital copies of your favorite magazine titles with Zinio, and music through Freegal.

All resources have great help sections, but please let us know if you have any questions or need additional help.

Music, Movies, and Media

Instantly borrow digital movies, music, eBooks and more through hoopla. (Boxborough residents only.)

Download (and keep) music through Freegal. This resource is made possible by the Sargent Memorial Library Foundation.

Reference eResources

Access a number of online research resources (eResources) that are made possible thanks to the generosity of the Sargent Memorial Library Foundation, the MBLC and the MLIS. Look for them by subject, or alphabetical order

Use these databases to do research for school projects, look up a family tree, find information on your next travel destination, or learn a new language. Questions? Visit the Reference eResources FAQ page or ask a librarian for help.

In addition to the eResources above, Massachusetts residents are elgibile to use eResources from the Boston Public Library.  If you do not already have a BPL library card, you can apply for an eCard.  eCards expire after 3 years unless they are upgraded to standard BPL cards.  Visit BPL's website for more information and to sign up for an eCard.
