Zinio for Libraries

Magazines to Download

Thanks to the generous support of the Sargent Memorial Library Foundation, our library patrons have access to the digital versions of 50 popular press magazines.

With your library account, you can check out magazines from the library's Zinio collection and read them on a Web browser online, or download them and read them offline on your mobile device. You can check out as many issues as you want from titles including Highlights, ESPN, Better Home and Gardens, National Geographic, and Forbes. No holds required, and no limits on how long you can keep them.

Using Zinio for Libraries

To start, visit the Zinio for Libraries website to browse the collection. Create a Zinio for Libraries account using your library card number, and check out magazines.

You can start reading the magazines immediately after you've checked out an issue, or download the magazine onto your mobile device using the Zinio for Libraries app to read offline.

To do so:

1. Download the Zinio for Libraries app from your device's respective app store or go to the links below:

iPad | iPhone | Android | Kindle HD/HDX

Please note that there is a similar app called Zinio, be sure to download Zinio for Libraries instead.

2. Use your Zinio for Libraries account to sign in to the app. The app will display the magazines you've checked out for you to download onto your device.

Please note that the app is for offline reading only. To borrow a magazine, you need to go to the Zinio for Libraries website.

Changes to Zinio Service

The library switched to the current Zinio service for it's greater range of magazine selection on April 1st, 2015. If you started a Zinio account before April 6th, 2015, any existing checked out magazines will remain in your account until you choose to delete them. However, any new magazines will need to be downloaded using the new Zinio for Libraries App.
