Three Men Moving a Monument to Its New Home

Veterans' Day Ceremony

The Boxborough Veterans Tribute Committee cordially invites you to attend the 2021 Veterans Day Ceremony on Thursday, November 11th at 11:00am.  The ceremony will take place at entrance of the Sargent Memorial Library, 427 Massachusetts Avenue where the tribute is located.  Parking is available in the library lot and also at the Blanchard Memorial School, where a bridge is available to walk from the school directly to the site.

Thanks to the generosity of Boxborough residents and local businesses, we will also be dedicating the recently completed monument which stands on the site as a tribute to Boxborough’s Veterans and their families. We look forward to seeing you so that we can honor those who have served our country in the armed forces.

These actions should: convey a sense of the total dedication to the United States of America and its citizens by the men and women who served during war-time and in peace; honor selfless service; and provide the opportunity for the public to reflect on their rights and freedoms enjoyed as citizens of the United States of America.

The Veterans Tribute Committee (VTC) may establish sub-committees to assist with projects including but not limited to construction and fundraising.
